Sewage Air Valve 6600-PP

Sierra sewage air valve series 6600-PP Are Hydromechanical devices designed to automatically release or admit air during pipeline filling, draining, or operation of a water pipeline or system. The safe operation and efficiency of a pipeline are dependent on the continual removal of air from the pipeline.

Wastewater air valves series 6600 -PP overview

SIERRA 6600-PP sewage air valve, sturdy and reliable, features a design allowing the perfect operation in raw sewage and waste water applications also in presence of solids, rugs and mud. This is due to the particular design with strong sloped walls that will prevent solids and greaseballs from accumulating on the body creating possible malfunctioning. SIERRA 6600-PP combination kinetic air release valve provide 4-functions:- (1) Large air release during filling of the pipeline, (2) Small air release under pressurized pipeline, (3) Large air intake during draining of the pipeline, and (4) Preventing slam closure by Limiting the air flow velocity during discharge condition

Main Product Features

Large lower body with funnel-shaped walls to prevent deposits

The valve features a large lower body with strongly sloped funnel-shaped walls designed to prevent the accumulation of grease, sludge, and other materials, helping maintain clean internal flow conditions and improving long-term operational reliability.

Cast guide ribs for accurate stainless steel float movement

The lower body includes four cast ribs that guide the stainless steel float with precision, ensuring stable movement, improved alignment, and dependable valve performance under varying operating conditions.

Protective upper body for safer air release operation

The upper body contains a protective casing that shields the air release device from spurts during rapid filling, helping improve safety, reduce internal disturbance, and maintain efficient valve operation.

Top-entry maintenance for fast and easy service

Maintenance can be carried out easily from the top of the valve without removing the air valve from the pipeline, reducing downtime and making servicing faster, safer, and more cost-effective.

Large AISI 316 stainless steel float for durable performance

The mobile block includes a large AISI 316 stainless steel float mounted in the lower body, providing excellent corrosion resistance, long service life, and reliable performance in demanding water and wastewater applications.

Stainless steel stem connection for dependable air release control

The float is connected to the air release system through a stainless-steel stem, ensuring strong mechanical performance, accurate movement, and reliable control of the air release function.

Internal guide system for smooth float travel

The internal body guide and upper round wall keep the float moving accurately along its rail, ensuring smooth travel, better stability, and consistent operating performance.

Controlled turbulence area for stable valve operation

The internal design helps contain liquid turbulence within a defined area, protecting float movement from instability and supporting more reliable air valve performance.

This air valve is designed with a large lower body featuring strongly sloped funnel-shaped walls that help prevent grease and material deposits, improving cleanliness and reducing maintenance requirements. Four cast guide ribs ensure precise movement of the stainless steel float, while the upper body casing protects the air release device against spurts during rapid filling for safer and more stable operation.

The valve also offers easy top-entry maintenance, allowing service work to be performed without removing the valve from the pipeline. Its mobile block includes a large AISI 316 stainless steel float connected to the air release mechanism through a stainless-steel stem, providing excellent durability and corrosion resistance. An internal guide system and upper round wall keep the float moving smoothly on its rail and help control turbulence, ensuring dependable long-term performance.
